required audio/video cabling.

Get wired can also offer design, consultation, project management and can make arrangements for projects to be undertaken
out of normal office hours to make sure of minimal disruption.

Plasma, LCD, Projector & Projection Screen Installation.

Most multimedia installations start with a basic requirement for installation of a LCD, plasma or projector at the required position, normally achieved by mounting onto a ceiling pole mount or wall mount. Other requirements that maybe required included power for the device, video (via VGA, scart or HDMI, etc) and audio (via stand alone amplifiers and wall/ceiling mounted speakers).Multimedia wall and desk mounted plates can also be installed to allow for easy connectivity of devices to the multimedia installation.
Plates are now available for the connectivity of input video and audio equipment including DVD/video players, PC's/laptops and amplifiers.
Projections screens come in many various shapes and sizes and are normally mounted onto ceilings or walls. Mechanical screens are also available to allow for easy function via wall mounted switches or remote controls.

Audio/Video Network Structure.
An A/V network structured system allows for connectivity of plasma, LCD screens or projectors from an input source of up to three-hundred metres away by using new or existing category 5E, 6 or fibre optic structured cabling networks. The benefit of these systems is that normal video feeds like VGA or HDMI only have a connectivity length allowance of approximately fifteen metres before signal loss becomes apparent and so losing quality of the final image.
An A/V network structure multimedia system uses signal converters to change the signal from video and audio to data over the cable and then back again at the required multimedia positions. As long as each multimedia and input signal position has a data point installed onto the data network and can be connected together (normally within the main or remote communications cabinet), the signal can be converted and sent.
Multimedia switches can also be installed to allow for multiple multimedia positions to be controlled from one or more input sources, this allows for full and easy control of the multimedia system.
